There’s definitely a lot to talk about when it comes to hair:

• Hair is universal: All humans have hair (this already allow room for counter discourse to European colonial ideologies)/ Links all societies
• Hair styles/types and their meanings are full of contradictions, across ethnic groups (like the competing discourses mentioned earlier)
• Hair has social and political connections
• Hair characterises different cultures, histories, and also stereotypes certain groups
• Hair, identity, and networks
• Hair and exchangability (something intimate and detachable)
• Hair and spirituality
